Shifting Reiteration is a series of installation that explore the notion of change through issues arise due to the urban development.
In this third series, Shifting Reiteration III was inspired by the mundane observation of how one pack their belongings in the midst of shifting. In a lot of way, the object at home are like memories that could suggest the habits of the inhabitants. Therefore, it is essential to protect these objects almost as though we are protecting our memories. Hence, we often wrapped our objects so as to protect it from damage when we are shifting around. This act of wrapping and packing can also be seen as our desire to preserve memories from being lost and forgotten. |
