Ki is a series of painting that explores abstraction and the color - White. In Japanese, the word Ki took on two meanings:- tree and energy. Therefore, these paintings took inspiration from the nature such as tree and mountain. The work adopted an abstract approach in exploring White through addition and subtraction of the color White and make use of various colors to re-enhance the color White.
